It is the Program developed by the Royal Spanish Swimming Federation to guarantee the quality of swimming teaching, and create uniformity in its teaching through a homologation system that serves as a guide for all the agents involved; schools or educational centers, monitors and parents.
The Program is based on a series of objectives that mark the progression in learning.
Considering the teaching of swimming as a fundamental part of the training of future responsible and aware adults, this program gives a comprehensive approach to learning to swim. Not only by improving their safety in the aquatic environment or helping them acquire healthy lifestyle habits, but also by associating human values. Thus, each of the awards or diplomas that make up this program has been related to a marine animal in danger of extinction.
In the Babies and Parents category, familiarization with the aquatic environment and adaptation to new situations within it are carried out. We work to achieve a basic knowledge of the aquatic environment through experimentation with the fundamentals of swimming. It is an affective and cognitive experience in a recreational and playful environment between child and parents.
In the Into Water category, learning the fundamentals of swimming begins, introducing the basic and specific motor skills of swimming.
The objective is to acquire confidence, security and autonomy, without leaving aside fun and learning, which is why the driving force is play.
The Can Xaubet Sports Complex is the municipal sports center of Pineda de Mar.
Located on National II between Km. 669-670, it has a privileged location and is easily accessible by both the population of Pineda and the population of nearby towns.
